Yoda PLC (“the Group”) is expanding and currently recruiting for the exciting role of: “Finance Assistant – Manager”. The Group is listed in the Cyprus Stock Exchange emerging companies’ market and invests in real estate, shipping, and technology sectors. The top management of the Group has a proven track record, and the investment portfolio includes well recognised and highly reputable business assets.
The ideal candidate will work and collaborate with the finance team and the outsourced service provider to accomplish the assigned tasks in a highly demanding but motivating environment. Integrate well in a small team and prove self-starting credentials, honesty, and integrity.
Main role:
Assist with the audit process of the Group’s companies.
Preparation of the consolidated accounts of the group under the guidance and supervision of the senior management team.
Preparation of frequent and ad-hoc statutory and management reporting including but not limited to liquidity / banks reports and Investment portfolio reports.
Preparation and monitoring of Budgets and Forecasts
Assist with the Groups’ tax obligations and requirements.
Get involved with various exciting financial projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance, economics, or mathematics.
Qualified or partly qualified (ACA / ACCA/ CFA)
Relevant experience ideally in a big four firm of 2-3 years
Strong Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Excellent command of English language
Strong organisational skills and ability to take responsibility for significant areas with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of Cyprus Stock Exchange listing requirements and obligations will be considered as a plus.
