Board Members

Mr. Alon Bar serves as the Chief Executive Officer at YODA PLC. With over 20 years of experience in real estate and capital markets, Mr. Bar has gained extensive expertise in the investment and corporate finance world as well as the tech and shipping sectors. His professional background encompasses high-ranking roles in family offices and private equity funds.

Mr. Bar holds a Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Computer Science from The Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzeliya. His studies included a major in Entrepreneurship through The Sam Zell Program, and he graduated with honors. Additionally, he attained a Joint Executive MBA from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and Tel Aviv University. Mr. Bar also successfully finished the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at INSEAD Business School.

Mr. Marios P. Alexandrou serves as Head of Operations and Compliance at YODA PLC. His extensive professional background includes six years at Deloitte & Touche Ltd., where he held diverse roles within the Audit and Assurance Department. Since 2008, Mr. Alexandrou has been an integral part of IQEQ Cyprus Ltd., assuming the role of Client Service Director.

Mr. Alexandrou earned a BSc degree in Economics and Accounting with honors from the University of Hull, UK. Additionally, he is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) and is a full member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

Mr. Achilleas Dorotheou is Head of Hospitality and Development at YODA PLC. With a rich 30-year career in hospitality, Mr. Dorotheou held prominent positions such as Executive General Director and Board Member in various enterprises across Cyprus, Greece, Switzerland, and Germany. Noteworthy roles include General Manager at Amathus Hotels, Ikos Resorts, and Costa Navarino resort.

He graduated from Hotel Institute Montreux, and he also holds a MA in Hospitality Management from Birmingham University, as well as a MBD from the IMD Business School. Mr. Dorotheou is a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) of the American Hotel and Lodging Association, and he recently completed a program at Cornell University, focusing on digital transformation and leadership.

Mr. Stavros Ioannou is Chief Financial Officer at YODA PLC. For over a decade, Mr. Ioannou held various positions in the financial services sector, including a management role in the Investment Management and Private Equity team at Deloitte LLP, and Vice President at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, London. Additionally, he fulfilled executive roles in family offices and private equity firms, both in London and Cyprus.

Mr. Ioannou graduated with a BA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Manchester, UK. He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) and a full member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Additionally, he has obtained advanced certification from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission.
